Wesley Snipes - tax and shit
Wesley Snipes' three years in jail for tax dodging seems a bit harsh - but then modern democracies have a penchant for stuffing their prisons with petty miscreants and debtors. A few years back Snipes, on one of the Blade sets, had a grunt fired for wearing a T-shirt emblazoned with the word Shit. "You're a disgrace to black people" the lowlife was told by the star. Snipes is now at the receiving end of pettiness.

Not harsh at all. The two people he stood trial with were convicted of felonies. The idiot jury took pity on Snipes when he told them he was 'duped' by the other two. He already got his Get out of Jail Free card-the felonies would have given him 15 years+. By the way, he has also stiffed his management team.
Does he also have to pay the $10m owed to the IRS ?
He paid 5 million, and he was still sentenced and denied any leniency...the US Gov't shits on celebrity's faux pas'..they delight in making an example of them! Taxes are ridiculous! There should be a better way to make the rich even richer and finance mendacious warfare~!
