A number of you have asked for more info on the musicians that greeted Molly P at Split Harbour (see below). Kočani Orkestar are a leading Balkan Gypsy brass band - their
Siki Siki Baba is on the soundtrack of Sacha Baron Cohen's
Borat. For a listen, go to their
MySpace page and click on the menu, top right. Here's their
Wikipedia entry.

great stuff
When are you going to start writing again about media hacks, showbiz stars and give us gossip? The last few weeks you have been on a series of obsessive adventures starting with Farah fucking Damji. Get back to the subjects!
I write about what I please according to caprice. For media tittle-tattle, visit Media Guardian. All the latest exciting news on Rupert Murdoch and the BBC may be found there. And ever since Prof Roy Greenslade rediscovered his testicles, you are assured some gritty commentary. His recent fulmination against the dreadful Richard Desmond cannot be bettered and he had the guts to go into the witness box, too. I hope he dininfected himself afterwards. There's no vaccination against the Desmond virus.
As for my "obsessions" - is this not a form of interactive gossip? Rather than try to do what Private Eye does so well - in the full confidence of salaried protection I might add - I am now immersing myself in the lives of those who interest me and turning MA into a proper blog. Of course this could change.
You never know how the wind blows in these parts, dearie. I'm just as likely to close the site down as continue with it.
