Stephanie Mastini - send your healing thoughts to her

My friend Stephanie Mastini - Kevin Spacey's former sister-in-law - is having surgery on Monday. My thoughts are with her. She writes: "I am very scared and stressed but I am strong and have so many more adventures to experience and my book to finish ... not to mention all the paintings! Don't forget me ... love, Steph x."

How could we forget you, Steph! See her blog - a friend of hers has penned a song in her honour, click here.

Dear Steph
We may not be speaking to each other at this momment, but I hope all goes well with your surgery.

You're a very vicious and malicious mind, Arcati. Don't you know what might happen inevitably ? No matter how flawed and confused Stephanie may be, she certainly doesn't deserve such "friends" as you right now. You should just shut up out of respect for her sufferings, but apparently you can't help tempting the Devil – I'm afraid it's your favourite pastime.

But I'm misjudging you : of course, you'll charitably "moderate" all the uncalled-for and hurtful comments... as always. :-)

Dear MA,
I can only say that what goes around comes around with that Duralex character...thank you..

Madame Arcati said...

This is more like the Duralex I know along with the nutty over-reaction, the ranting and the invocation of a devil.

In fact Steph and I have been in communication and I told her I would publicly wish her good luck with the surgery which she was happy about. The fact that Randy has written in suggests that he sees nothing wrong here, so your rather ridiculous comment is another characteristic misjudgement.

I should also say that no negative comments directed at Steph will be published on this site (not that I have received any, but I know there are some sad cases out there. At their, er, Hollywood shrines).

I notice, Duralex, that you failed to express any synpathetic thoughts to Steph - hang your head in shame! Are all Quebecians so ghastly and foul-brained?

I certainly don't wish you any ill Steph even if I disapprove of your association with this Arcati creature. But good luck with whatever this op is.

<< The fact that Randy has written in suggests that he sees nothing wrong here >>

A private email might have been more appropriate than this conspicuous display of sympathy, don't you think ? Randy must have Steph’s email address. Which leads me to the following idea : you have no proof that the author of the first message is _actually_ Randy Fowler.

Apart from that... Am I so hard to deal with ? You deleted two posts before finding the “right” words. I missed the first one, but the second one didn’t escape my sharp eye. You were wondering – once again ! – why I disappeared for several weeks after your outing. Your self-centred hypothesis made me laugh. Unlike you, I happen to have a rather interesting personal life outside your funny little blog, you know. All I can tell you is that it’s very far from what you might imagine in your narrow hack’s head. But I keep it for myself and I always will. As for the emails I allegedly sent to some friends of yours... which friends, for the Devil’s sake ? Oh yes, I remember, Randy Fowler. Well, I’d really like to see those emails, because they obviously belong to an alternative reality I’m anxious to explore.

<< I notice, Duralex, that you failed to express any sympathetic thoughts to Steph - hang your head in shame! >>

And I notice, Arcati, that you failed to read between the lines, which is an unforgivable lack of professionalism of your part.

Bien le bonsoir, mon chéri ! :-)

it's called bilateral mastectomy...and my association with Madame is none of your concern; we are kindred friends...who are you anyway? sounds like you know me...but are hiding for some reason...but for whatever it's worth, thank you for taking the time to watch out for me and wishing me well...

My dear Duralex, I strive to remove literals from my copy before sharp-eyed anony-mice nibble at them. I don't employ subs, you see.

I'm sure you're really Jason of Argonauts fame living a life of relentless fascination, the stuff of legend. Goodness knows where I get the energy and the ideas for this blog. It must be all that vicarious living I get up to.

I've grown used to the waxing and waning of your watery temperament. Very inconsistent. Very drama queen.

I notice that you still have yet to wish Steph well. How unpleasant and lax.

Would you like to know who Duralex is, Madame? You'd be surprised ...

Anonymous said...

Good luck Steph. I'm sure Kevin wishes you well too

I did it in my “litotesque” and discreet fashion, and that’s all you’ll get from me. I’m not exactly a bubbly effusive kind of person, you see.

<< I've grown used to the waxing and waning of your watery temperament. Very inconsistent. Very drama queen. >>

In other words : I’m quite a complex, unfathomable and titillating character.

<< Would you like to know who Duralex is, Madame? You'd be surprised ... >>

Sure he would ! And so would I ! Go ahead Anon, I’m foreseeing a hell of a good laugh there.

< I'm sure Kevin wishes you well too >

It would be nice if you could avoid involving Mr Spacey in a situation that is of no direct concern to him.
Good luck to Steph, however. I don't like her, but I wish her no harm.

What I actually can't figure out is why Steph would need you to do so. Doesn't she have her own personal blog where she could receive all those 'healing thoughts'? Why doesn't she use it instead of hijacking yours? I really don't get it!

Even though I'm a Spacey fan and don't appreciate the dribble that goes on here in regards to this family....I do sincerely hope things go well with your surgery Steph, I've added you to my prayer list. I know your blog is about helping others, but it would be helpful for other cancer patients to be able to follow your story as well as a survivor. You can sometimes help alot more people with words rather than deeds. Take Care!

Duralex is Keyser Soze!

No?

Stephanie Mastini said...

just for the record "Duralex"...you appear to crave attention incessantly even at the expensive of my illness...and I sent Madame the email he/she sent me regarding your identity...I know who it is and they are two very sick jealous puppies...I don't need the good wishes from the likes of Duralex...stay off this blog out of respect for my illness Duralex..can you try and control your impulsive mania for once? I have many friends that have sent me their prayers...

At the _expense_, honey...

<< and I sent Madame the email he/she sent me regarding your identity...I know who it is and they are two very sick jealous puppies... >>

Do you mean you believe that your sister and her companion stole my identity ?

<< I don't need the good wishes from the likes of Duralex... >>

No. Obviously you think Duralex IS Francine and Thom. Oh calisse et tabarnak, help, I'm dying here ! :-)))

<< I have many friends that have sent me their prayers... >>

Sorry, Steph, I am an atheist.

Anonymous said...

So ? I'm still waiting for those stunning revelations about my secret identity... :-)

Madame Arcati said...

But would Madame publish those details Duralex? Would she not use them for some cunning entertainment ...?

Anonymous said...

Please do. All the entertainment will be mine ! Aaaah, my five minutes of stardom at last... ;-)

“I also want to add that my sister and her husband have not even written or called...”

I envy you Steph for having such an admirable conception of charity!

you know why I feel that I have uncovered the identity of Duralex? Only a cold hearted woman would pick at a word that I used out of context/// instead of wishing me well...a "TRUE CRASS ACT"//I will not say anymore..I need to surrond myself with positive aura, not negative light Francine..Go way, far away...

Yes it was me who wrote it, what's the problem. I can still care about someone even if we don't agree on something.
Steph's home now recovering and doing much better. I still care about her. MA said it all:

Thanks

Okay, darling, I give up. I am Francine and Thom as much as you want me to be. Satisfied ?

As for wishing you well... As Duralex I was about to do it, honest, although we don't know each other. But as Francine and Thom I notice you're already hyperactive and out for blood again, so I suppose my encouragements would be superfluous.
